Hello and welcome to the website for Education Maintenance Allowances in Scotland.
EMAs were launched across Scotland in August 2004 to provide financial support to young people from low income families.
Currently, almost 35,000 young people in Scotland are receiving an EMA.
To check and see if you will receive an EMA for year 2013-14, new and current EMA students should click the 'Students' link to the left. Those involved in the management of EMAs should visit the 'Administrators' section.
