Q - What information are you looking for?
A - Information will be required on a monthly basis and additional information required annually. The data requested annually will include data you are already passing to the Scottish Government through the Scotxed programme.

A - Some information will be required on a monthly basis and some on an annual basis. The data requested annually will include data you are already passing to the Scottish Government through the Scotxed programme.
Q - Why do you need this information?
A - On a monthly basis this information will be required to trigger a payment. More information will be required on an annual basis to allow us to review how successful the EMA programme has been.
Q - How is this information to be collected?
A - On a monthly basis you will be required to collect attendance data from the schools. This, along with the original data collected in the application process, should provide you with the required data. You will be required to send to us on a monthly basis how many students you paid and what you paid. On an annual basis, we will collect data from yourselves and also from the data you send to Scotxed.
Q - Are current systems within the Local Authorities linked to the secondary schools for the collection of attendance data?
A - The Phoenix system can be linked to the schools, as can SEEMIS.
Q - What information do you need exactly?
A - The offer of grant letter details what information we need on a monthly basis and what we need on an annual basis.
Q - Can't this information be collected on a quarterly basis?
A - No, the data is required to trigger payments to the Local Authority from the Scottish Government.
Q - What about the data transfer for independent schools?
A - Local Authorities will be responsible for administering the programme for independent schools as well. The information is collected manually.
